My name is Young Keun. I was born in Seoul and adopted to the US at a young age. I spent over ten years in California working in restaurants, large scale kitchens, and farms. In 2017 I went to Seoul on a heritage trip for adoptees and decided to move to Korea. Since then, I've been exploring my identity through Korean food and expanding my skills in the kitchen. I currently specialize in menu development, event planning, kitchen workflow consultation, and kitchen management.
I recently finished a tour around the world, stopping in Paris, Amsterdam, California, and a number of US cities, introducing people to my style of Korean food.
